Q. Do you accept short holding time samples at all times?
A. Short holding time samples must be brought to the lab prior to 2:00 pm on Fridays. Please note that a rush fee will be assessed for samples delivered at or near the expiration of the holding time. If the expiration time is too short, the laboratory may not be able to perform the test. Samples requiring "RUSH" status must be cleared with the laboratory prior to analysis.
Q. Do you sell chemicals or other supplies?
A. No. Chemtech-Ford laboratories only provides analytical services. Sample bottles are supplied at no additional charge as part of the analysis.
Q. How do I insure that the Utah Division of Drinking Water will get a copy of my test results?
A. Simply put an "X" in the box on the Chain-of-Custody form (top, left of the form 00under "Turnaround Required") indicating that you wish a copy sent to the state.
Q. When do I need to pay for my tests?
A. If you do not have an account established with Chemtech-Ford, payment will need to be made prior to receipt of results. Payment can be made with checks, cash, Visa, American Express and MasterCard.
Q. How do I ship the samples back to the lab if I cannot deliver them in person?
A. Chemtech-Ford provides the sample bottles to each client in a cooler. The cooler is entirely adequate to use as a shipping container when you return the samples. Federal Express, and UPS handle our coolers on a routine basis.
Q. Do you sell Ford Trucks?
A. No.
Q. Do you have a minimum fee?
A. The minimum fee for analytical services is $25, except for microbiological analyses.
